Registering for Events
Unless specifically noted otherwise, all meetings and other events (Events) are offered by The Rupert Spira Foundation free of charge to all attendees. Registration through the Event's registration button on this website is recommended to secure your spot, but there is no cost to register and attend. Walk-ins who have not pre-registered on this website are welcome if space is available at the time of an Event.
Each registrant may register for either one or two spots on the registration list for any particular Event.
If you experience any difficulty registering for an Event, please contact the organizer whose email address is listed on this website. The organizer will be able to assist you with your registration.
Donations
The Foundation is reliant upon donations to support its offerings and welcomes donations of whatever amount is within people's hearts and ability to offer. If you wish to make a donation to help support the Foundation's offerings, please click the donation button on this website and you will be taken to a secure donation site.
Please review the Foundation's Privacy Policy for information about how the Foundation uses information provided when you register or donate.
Contact Information
By registering for an Event, you are deemed to consent to the Foundation maintaining and using your email address for the purposes of providing you with further notifications about the Event. If you do not wish to receive such communications, please contact the Event organizer and advise that you do not give this consent.
Health and Safety
Event venues comply with the local requirements for the health and safety of attendees. By registrating for an Event, you agree to comply with the guidelines in place at the time of the meeting.
Accessibility, Service Animals, and Pets
The Foundation is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all attendees. If you have a disability or special need, please let the event organizer know at the time of registering or prior to arrival so that we can make appropriate arrangements to support you. We will do our best to accommodate your needs and ensure your participation. Your advance notice will enable us to better meet your requirements and support you to have a smooth experience of the Event.
We strive to ensure our Events are accessible to everyone, including individuals with service animals like guide dogs. If you plan to attend an Event with a service dog, please contact us before registering for the Event. We can then arrange suitable accommodations or seating. We appreciate your understanding if certain situations make accommodating service dogs difficult due to safety or logistics. In these circumstances, we will strive to do our best to offer alternative solutions.
Attendees are not permitted to bring pets or animals which are not classed as service animals, such as certified and trained guide dogs. Please contact the Event organizer for further information.
Cancellation
The Foundation reserves the right to cancel any Event for reasons which are beyond its control, including insufficient attendee registration. We will endeavour to inform you in advance should a cancellation be necessary. The Foundation can accept no liability for cancellations.
Responsibility
The Foundation can accept no responsibility for accident or loss experienced by attendees while at Events, although all reasonable efforts are made to ensure safety and enjoyment throughout.
Images
The Foundation reserves the right to take photographs or make videos and recordings of its Events. The filming and recording of such Events may be viewed on our website and possibly shared on social media platforms, such as but not limited to Facebook and YouTube.
In registering to attend an Event, you are deemed to consent automatically to your image, whether still, video and/or recorded, being broadcast online and otherwise shared on public sites.
Code of Conduct
All events are recreational-drug-free. Excess or inappropriate use of alcohol is also not allowed. Organizers of Events reserve the right to ask an attendee to leave the Event if they feel the attendee poses a risk to him/herself or other attendees.
Emotional and Psychological wellbeing
The Events are a time for contemplation and exploration of the non-dual understanding, and the process may evoke strong feelings. We do our best to create a safe, supportive environment. However, we are not trained therapists and cannot be regarded as a substitute for therapy or be held responsible for an individual’s care during events. If you have any pre-existing medical or psychological conditions, you may wish to consult with your doctor or mental health professional before attending an Event. Please also reach out to the organizer to make sure the Event is right for you if in any doubt so we can support you in the best possible way. We reserve the right to ask attendees to leave an Event if they cannot self-regulate or manage their emotional and psychological state.
Please note that nothing Rupert Spira or any other speaker says at an event, nor the content of any items available at an event, are intended to replace advice from a qualified medical or psychological practitioner or to prevent an attendee from seeking such advice where appropriate.
Any additional activities that are offered during an Event, including, but not limited to, movement workshops, yoga sessions, dance sessions etc. are taken at the attendees' own risk.
No Solicitation Policy
Attendees are prohibited from soliciting business, promoting products or services, distributing advertising materials, or conducting direct sales during Events.
Refusal of participation
The Foundation reserves the right to preemptively refuse admission to an attendee if we believe they may be in breach of any of our terms and conditions. In such a situation, the Foundation cannot be held responsible for any additional costs incurred such as transportation or accommodation costs they may have already incurred.
Children Attending Events
Some venues may have restrictions regarding children attending events at their facility. It is essential to contact the event organizer prior to booking or arriving with children.
