Offering the timeless understanding of our shared being

Founded in 2017, The Rupert Spira Foundation promotes worldwide access to the understanding of our shared being. The Foundation seeks to make the non-dual teaching as widely and inexpensively available as possible for those wishing to receive it who would not otherwise be able to do so for financial reasons.

The Foundation is engaged in a range of initiatives to share the non-dual understanding with people of all ages. This includes a YouTube Channel where Rupert answers questions submitted by viewers so that even those who cannot attend retreats are able to have their specific questions addressed. Plans are also in development for a documentary-style video. For younger readers, a book series will introduce children to the nature of their being in creative and accessible ways. Alongside these projects, the Foundation hosts donation-based meetings in Devon, UK, offering opportunities for in-person connection and exploration of our shared being.

The Rupert Spira Foundation is a U.S. 503(c)(1) non-profit organization funded exclusively by individual contributions and donations.

Rupert Spira shares the Foundation’s vision and purpose

‘Everyone should know that in the depths of their being lies a realm of silence and peace that is always available, irrespective of the content of their experience.’

RUPERT SPIRA

From his early years, Rupert explored reality and the source of lasting happiness. At seventeen, he began meditating and studying Advaita Vedanta for twenty years. Since then, he has studied Sufism, Mystical Christianity and Kashmir Shaivism. Through writings, talks, and retreats, he distills these traditions into a simple approach to recognise our essential peace and joy. He holds regular meetings and retreats in the UK, Europe, USA, and online.
